“My paintings are inspired by landscapes, and on occasion the juxtaposition of natural settings with the harder lines of architecture”.
My paintings combine realism and abstract composition & I am particularly interested in movement, contrast, rhythm & simplicity. I seek to create moments of peace in my paintings. Spacial difference and contrasts are used to create a tension that emulates certain states of mind, psychological experiences and emotional resonance.
